LifeSync, operator of FridgeChef ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account data: Name and email address when you sign up via our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Usage data: Number of scans and recipe generations you perform, used to enforce your plan limits.
• Images: Photos you upload of your fridge are sent to Claude (Anthropic) for analysis and are not stored by us beyond the duration of a single request.
• Payment data: Processed entirely by Paddle. We do not store credit card or banking information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the FridgeChef service
• To enforce usage limits on free and paid plans
• To send account-related communications (never marketing without consent)
• To process payments through Paddle

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties:

• Clerk – authentication and user management (clerk.com/privacy)
• Anthropic (Claude) – AI image analysis and recipe generation (anthropic.com/privacy)
• Paddle – payment processing (paddle.com/legal/privacy)

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Fridge images are not stored after analysis. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy

FridgeChef is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
